Frequently Asked Questions

MI12 is a global student discipleship movement under Mentorship International. We equip university students to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, boldly proclaim the Gospel, and become world-changing witnesses for Christ.

MI12 stands for Mentorship International 12, inspired by Jesus’ model of mentoring 12 disciples. Students are placed in international groups of 12 to learn, grow, and serve together in a cross-cultural community.

MI12 is built on five key pillars:

  1. Born Again – A personal relationship with Jesus Christ (John 3:3)
  2. Baptized with the Holy Spirit – Empowered to live and minister (Acts 1:8)
  3. Equipped for Ministry – Trained to heal the sick and cast out unclean spirits (Mark 16:17–18)
  4. Witness to the World – Living out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20)

Unashamed – Boldly standing for Christ (Romans 1:16, Luke 9:26)

Any born-again university student who desires to grow spiritually, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and make an impact for Christ is welcome to apply—regardless of nationality, academic field, or background.

Students are placed into international online groups of 12. These groups meet virtually for Bible study, prayer, mentorship, outreach planning, and personal growth, developing global friendships and a kingdom vision.
