Beliefs

  • We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative source of Christian doctrine and precept.
  • We believe that one God is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that man was created in the image of God, but as a result of sin, he is lost and powerless to save himself.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ, in person, will return to earth in power and glory.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in those who have received Christ to enable them to live righteous and godly lives.
  • We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and is composed of all those who, through belief in Christ, have been spiritually regenerated by the indwelling Holy Spirit. The mission of the church is worldwide evangelization.
  • We believe that the only hope for man is to believe in Jesus Christ, the virgin-born Son of God, who died to take upon Himself the punishment for the sin of mankind and Who rose from the dead so that by receiving Him as Savior and Lord, man is redeemed by His blood.

The Seven World Spheres of Influence

Our premise for leadership, to borrow from Bill Bright, the founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, is to use a divine world-changing strategy to bring godly change to nations by reaching their seven spheres of societal influence. To transform any country with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, these seven facets of society must be reached: Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts and entertainment, and Business. Mentorship International, therefore, aims to teach and train the next generation to be champions in these seven spheres of societal influence for Christ. Our strategy vision, therefore, is to help people discover and develop the champion in them (divine calling) to be steward-leaders in the seven spheres of societal influence.

Dr. Peter K. Banks

Executive Director

Dr. Peter K. Banks is the Chief Overseer of HESED GLOBAL, Inc., the nonprofit organization behind Mentorship International. A dedicated Gospel preacher and pastor with decades of experience, Dr. Banks has led mission work across Africa, Europe, and the United States. He is passionate about spreading the message of Christ and training leaders for effective ministry. He holds a Ph.D. from Columbia International University and is a graduate of Regent University. Dr. Banks lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with his family.
